A child is notavase to be filled, but a sparkto be lit------- Perhaps this was in the minds of the members of SDP Sabha (Regd.) when they planned to start a school with a difference. The Sabha wanted to provide a platform through 'which each child could be explored and the spark in him/her be kindled. The enlightened members of the Sabha envisioned a school which could be a rope way to glory. Thus Ram Lal Bhasin Public School came in to existence in the memory of freedom fighter and philanthropist Late Sh. Ram LaI Bhasin. School is functioning under the patronage of S.D.P Sabha, Ludhiana. The Sabha has traversed a remarkable long journey of excellence in the field of education in Ludhiana for more than a century through its five prominent educational institutions. This is an age of achievement, provided one perseveres in whatever he /she tries. Great men were not great when they were born nor when they started their career, but they made themselves great by learning,learning and learning. As once Leonard Da Vinci, the great ltalian artist and scientist remarked "lron rusts from disuse, stagnant water loses its purity and in cold weather water becomes frozen even so does inaction sap the vigour of mind." Since the inception of school, our endeavor has been to encourage and prepare the students through value based education, computer equipped class room teaching along with co-curricular activities and sports to face the challenges of today's world successfully. I assure and affirm my sincerity, dedication and devotion for this sacred service of educating the young minds. I anticipate the same kind of co-operation from one and all.
